Unused tiles

Unused tiles

When making a map in MapEd I noticed that several tile slots are unused. Wouldn't it be possible to add some interesting tiles (variation to grass etc.)? Also, the empty slots break scrolling when using mouse wheel which is very annoying.

The layout of tiles in the map editor is just to make them easier to use, underneath they are in a completely different order (you can see the numbers when you hover). So empty slots in the layout are just to make the tiles line up better with each other. Also the road and field tiles are not shown in the map editor because they are only intended to be used by the game. KaM uses all 256 tiles, so to add new ones we need to extend the map format (there's already a topic for that).
Also, the empty slots break scrolling when using mouse wheel which is very annoying.
