Troops Eating

Does anyone know if there is a logical pattern that determines what food a soldier receives? That is, will the serfs bring a seemingly random piece of food, or is there some kind of increased likelihood of certain foods being brought/ Or perhaps is there a pattern of some sorts, etc?

I seem to remember they are given a hell of a lot of wine. Not that I support the use of poison to quench ones thirst. I believe it ran through an ordered list of consumables, whichever was available first was served.

Since some moaning about delivering priorities (it used to be almost impossible to feed your troops if your inn wasn't full), feeding troops now has higher priority than filling an inn. This might mean that any available food will be brought to your soldiers until they have all been fed. So it depends on which food is being produced at that moment. If you happen to have an unhealthily healthy economy with all sorts of food in your storehouse, I think they select them rather randomly. But obviously Lewin or Krom would know best. :)
