Knights and Merchants.net Forum

Hi everyone, and welcome to the new forum!

As you can see, we've now moved from the old location to the Knights and Merchants.net domain, where we have full control over our forum and no longer use a free host!

This forum runs on phpBB3 and uses a different theme than the old forum. That theme was not compatible with phpBB3. Some of you may find the forum icons unclear. Don't worry -> they will be fixed in the next couple of days. Because this forum is new to everyone, including the Admin's, you may notice some bugs or small errors. Please report them in this topic!. We will then try to fix it as soon as possible.

The transfer itself went quite well. It took a little over 3 hours, since there were some minor setbacks. But nothing we couldn't handle of course

I still feel a bit lost on the new forum but it's so nice to have a proper domain and be rid of those annoying ads. Also phpBB3 has some nice new features

Great work on the transfer! Have to agree with Lewin that it looks a bit different, but I'm sure we'll get used to it in no time.

I was looking for a style that was close to the old one, but I couldn't really find any. If you find a style that you like, you can always propose it here!
This one is a bit confusing sometimes, because it's so 'modern'.

I was not able t use Litude's forum in last few years or so due to whole Russian IP range being blocked there by AtFreeForums. It's awesome you have moved all the messages and all the everythings to the new place! My respect!

This is a nice opportunity to "recall" all those lost members.. since now they are showing up in order to congratulate this event.

Is it a good moment to propose a way we find each other in a regular chat-room?
Otherwise we can simply connect weekends to Game-Ranger and wait... (but we have first to build up our bank of ID's).

It's sad that they didn't give you the sql dump, so now all pms are lost

Are there any plans to include some mods here? Like a medal mod - would be nice for the upcoming tournaments.

Yeah, it's sad AtFreeForum never gave us an sql dump..
And phpBB2 also doesn't allow exporting PM's.. Most other forum softwares do.

There's currently only 1 mod installed: RSS feed. I'd like to use as few mods as possible, since mods screw up the possibility to update the forum. I will only install mods if they are really necessary, or a great number of members think we should include it.
