It depends on how the system works. In the 3D Legend of Zelda or Oblivion, using a bow takes actual skill (aiming) rather than just spamming the attack button. Games like Fate or WoW have the worst ranged system, in my opinion, because nothing feels less like shooting something than just clicking on it while having infinite ammunition. In those games' defence, there really isn't an easy way to implement a good ranged system.

But for the most part, I am using ranged; even in WoW.

Laptop or PC?

Definitely PC. Far superior hardware and dual-monitor setups.

Italian or Chinese kitchen?

I never tried Chinese kitchen, so definitely Italian. I love pasta (much better than potatoes), pizza, and mozzarella.

ocean defo! Love water and don't see anything in being on a solid rock with nothing special apart from being in space.

The latter. It's sometimes amazing how much you can do with just a few soldiers, and how few with a whole big army.

In Poland we use 24-hour clock, but I use AM/PM. This is more comfortable.
