Re: Introduction topic

Let me reintroduce myself as Christianus Hungaricus Categoricus, the name I've been supposed to carry for years now on the worldwide web and in KaM Remake sessions. Thanks to T-Anti-Viruzz for helping me with that.

Re: Introduction topic

hello I'm Smogon and I used to be an active KaM player. (I'm back now)
I quit for like 3 months because I didn't think the game was still a challenge for me.

Haha, well it's nice to see you around. I encourage you to join TeamSpeak, and then you will see that the game isn't as easy as you had thought ;)

Re: Introduction topic

Hey, I'm Kevin, though mostly recognized as that guy with that very weird long name (I love wolves :P).
I'm a dutchie (not holland!!!), so I also speak english and german and if I'm lucky I might understand a little french, danish (very lucky norsk en svenski) and the occasional swearing word in some other languages.
At this moment I'm 20, studying stuff about the soil, water and atmosphere (just like that).
Besides I like to sport and I work in a zoo.

To the KaM sight, think I already played last century (not sure if I played from the start, I was 5 back than how should I remember XD), back then together with my dad (gotta convince him to play again as well :P) and sometimes in the meanwhile picked it up. Made a few missions myself but didn't feel like spreading them (they look so ugly imo and meh) and kept a little eye for news around but for some reason I missed this remake was going on for 2 years already :O (really nice job Krom and Lewin (and all others working in their shadows (if there is anything I can do to help, let me know (I usually get on well with scripts, though I didn't follow any real programming coarses (yet (and yes, I like brackets))))).
I think I'll be active also coming up with ideas (perhaps in the end even with scripts (A)) I'll see ^^.

Next to KaM I'm also active in simracing, offline often in nascar2003 and online with race07 (and add-ons) and soon rf2 in a community (which I shall not advertise for here, but I am staff member there). And sometimes I pick up some old game again that my laptop can handle.

Last, small note about myself: I usually got trouble to keep post shorts... see above

Re: Introduction topic

Welcome to the forum :)
Actually the Remake has been going on for 5 years (it was started in 2008), but we've only had a website and working multiplayer for the past few years.

If you're interested in scripts you should consider entering the competition:
viewtopic.php?f=5&t=1492
Even if you're interested in making maps (the terrain), you could team up with a map author who doesn't know how to script and create something together.

Re: Introduction topic

Greetings friends and foes,
A small intro from my side, I'm a big fan of KaM but since the Remake I'm even a biger one.
I've been reading the forum for a long time now, you lot do a great work with it and I also want to use this opportunity to thank Krom and Lewin for making this marvellous Remake.
Hope to see you lot on the Battlefield.

Have fun,
Fonzie

P.s: I really like the idea with the Dinamic Scripting and "Mini Games"
