New forum theme - poll #2

The results of the first poll are pretty clear, even though the number of votes was pretty low.
It seems a dark theme is still the way to go, so this poll we have lined up a few dark themes that you can vote for.

Please keep in mind that these are still just standard styles and we will edit them with KaM styling a bit, but nothing too drastic.
The options below are unsorted and you can vote for 2 styles.

Option #1 - pycode

pycode seems the best so far, Black isn't that bad. I'd say, use pycode, and if it's not too much work, change the colors slightly, to make it more similar to the colors of the current theme.

I also strongly favor Pycode over the other options.

It's the most simple design. Gone are the days where we had crazy web pages with flashy graphics and complicated interfaces. Nowadays, users prefer slick, simple designs with clear information.

I voted for Digi, seems similar to most popular pyco, but in blue colors. Both are fine, if make pyco design wide as other options are.
It should be possible to adjust it to full width, yep?

Yes, it is possible to make pycode full width.

But Digi offers more freedom in editing the style, so people shouldn't focus too much on the exact styles above, but mostly what it can be turned into.
Icons mostly stay the same, but colors can be edited. Also (but that's just a guess) I think Digi will have better support than pycode.

+1 for Pycode, but actually I'm using standard light theme. Hope it stays available )

And this number has gone up a bit lately, actually. I did make a post about how you can switch the theme after someone complained about the “ugliness” of the dark theme. Even I switched for a while as I prefer a light theme as well (though I must admit that the dark theme is nice when I’m using the forum at night without lights on like I’m doing right now!), but I couldn’t adjust to the layout change that came with prosilver.

I hope our new forum theme comes with two identical layouts with the only difference being one is light and one is dark.

I wouldn't count on it, because I'm way more reluctant to support two styles than in the past.

Is it noticeably more work to support standard light theme?

That depends on the edits I have to make on the dark theme, excluding the colors. But unfortunately nowadays I do not have the time I used to have to spend on this community anymore, so it also has something to do with making my life easier and that's not a bad thing, I think.
