Quick Idea for the Forum:
For the newbies, including me, it'd be easy when you are able to see, that this thread is inacitve right away by adding an "[OUTDATED]" tag infront of it when there hasn't been a post in... let's say... 6 weeks?

Short:
When a thread hasn't been replied to within 6 weeks it will be tagged with [OUTDATED].

Would this be a good idea? Don't know.
It just came to me, because I apperantly "refreshed" very old threads.

I do not thonk reviving a 6 weeks old thread is a bad thing. If we speak about threads that are not relevant anymore ( extreme example would be posting a bugreport in the first kam remake demo since it is mostlikely already fixed, we had some people revive 3, yes 3 year old threads) then i am not very pleased.

But a function like this gives a nice indication and may save mods some work locking every irrelevant threads manually.

6 weeks is a pure example. It could be 2,5,6,12 months(!) too. ^^

This seems like it would just be a lot of unnecessary work. Instead, just check to see the date the lat post was made. Problen solved

Agree with Ben, if topic is so much outdated it can be just locked after the necropost.
