Maybe we can take a vote, then? Most sites use this function, and it is much easier to quickly run your eyes across pictures rather than numbers.

What if I want to sort in a different way? Or I am looking at a list with 100+ maps? It is much easier to tell when the 5 star ratings end when they are actually stars.

Ben meant make a poll to vote for stars or vote for numbers.

Sort in what different way?
And numbers are more specific than stars. So imo, they give a better (more accurate) impression than stars.

A start could represent a number. 1 star = 1. And it looks all flashy and sparkly and oh so pretty
I may want to sort by author, SP/MP, etc.

IMO simple yellow stars are much neater than numbers (especially if you add fraction part to it)

I want to see more people use the repository, it's a great way to share, comment and rate maps.

Please consider using it when you want to upload a map, anti didn't put so much effort in it for nothing !

Don't you think that there should be a link to the KaM Repos at top of the forums? Maybe beside the Teamspeak link?
Also, I propose to permaban best-known mapmakers from the forums if they don't start using the repository
