New Knights and Merchants Trial!

A new type of demo version has been released of Knights and Merchants - The Peasants Rebellion. It includes the full game, but you are limited to playing it for 30 minutes total. The demo is approx. 140 mb in size due to the fact that everything is included in it, so modem users can only dream about playing this version of the demo. Download it from http://d.trymedia.com/d/topware/30m_d/topware/KnightsandMerchantsSetup.exe!

Also as I promised on the forums, I decided to release an incomplete version of my document decribing some of the commands that can be used when creating a mission.
I don't know how easy it's to understand what I have written to send me e-mails if you got some suggestions on how to improve it! It's currently in txt format only and can be viewed from http://real_hotdog.sitesled.com/KaM/Misc/Missions.txt!

Some of you probably noticed that the site had a three day downtime due to the fact that the host had some problems, but the forums were still functional until recently, when they also started bugging. However right now everything seems to be in order so if you find anything broken e-mail me!

I'm happy you are back on-line !

To the point - new demo has full game in it and gives only 30 minutes to beat it ? (all levels ?) or did I missed something ?

The new demo gives you 30 minutes of game time. After that you can't play the game anymore unless you unlock it by paying about $20. It's just made so that you can try out a bit more of the game without purchasing it in order to raise the poor sales that the game has had.

Another TopWare Value title, Xpand Rally has also had similar treatment. Maybe we will see 30 minute demos of other TopWare value titles as well in the future?

So, what do I do?

Hints:
If u dont want to cheat and play trough this level...

- Use ur PikeMans and LanceCarriers to support the village in the east. If need use ur swordmens and ur cavalerie, too!

- Always create new soldiers, recruits and send them to the fight

- 1 round look at the enemy. What will he do at which time? Use the second round to stop the enemy early enough!

OK I'll give this a try. If I understand correctly, the most important thing is to get to the village in the east and keep it standing. All the horses in the nearer village to the northeast aren't as important to stop?
Anyway, I'll give it a shot.
Thanks!!

I've been working on it, but so far no luck. It's frustrating how I can do so well in TSK (most of the levels) and not even get into the game in TPR.
I'll keep plugging away.

I think the cheat codes don't work in TPR???
